DON’T LET YOUR GREATEST STRENGTH BECOME YOUR GREATEST WEAKNESS

As a creative, your creative ability is your greatest strength. Period. But as you go up the ladder, if you are not adding to your skillset by learning how to lead others, search out talent, encourage their abilities, and effectively lifting them up at every opportunity, you will fail. No-one wants to see a creative leader that disempowers their own team. Or a leader who insists on cracking the briefs, doing the work and yes, taking the credit for themselves.
